Pros and cons of Refinitiv Eikon app for iPhone and iPad

Refinitiv Eikon app good for

5 stars no less. It´s my default app to follow my positions now. Very efficient, easy to retrieve my lists and check the markets at a glance.
We now can receive alerts directly on Apple Watch. Thats great!!!!
Ive been using the app for quite a while now and I have to say that Ive rarely seen such a clean, well structured and reliable financial application for a smartphone. As opposed to many other fin apps, this one works 100% and does what it is supposed to do. I love the search function and the intergrated Messanger! Great stuff and a clear recommendation for anyone intersted in the financial markets.
We use Eikon in the office and this is a great app for the mobile user

Some bad moments

New version totally unstable. Cannot be used either on iPhona and iPad
Due to company policy I am forced to use Reuters at work because its supposed to be cheaper than Bloomberg (thats not entirely true if you add soft costs but anyway). I was delighted to see that Reuters has put out a mobile version of EIKON so installed it on my iPad immediately. If a company decides to build its software architecture upon Windows Explorer it is a small wonder that this is not the most stable system on the planet. So, EIKON users know the perils of Reuters systems. Having said that, I now turn to the iPad app. Apple provides a pretty robust and well-running operating system with iOS 6. Still, Reuters developers somehow manage to issue an app that constantly crashes while signing in. This is amazing! How do these guys do that? I have never seen such a bad programming on an Apple device! Just like the desktop version of EIKON this app is far behind state-of-the-art software development. I really cant see how Reuters will ever manage to earn money with this crap. One star for the effort. Sorry guys, do it again, please! ASAP Ps: btw, when can we expect an iPhone 5 compatible version of EIKON?
eikon for pc and as app is just really bad. not stable, slow and unstructured. i still cant believe that theyre not able to setup a good version.
You have to sign in, and if you dont have an account too bad because you cant create one.
Easy to use, well presented, like it and use it every day. A couple of minor glitches early on but those seem to be resolved.
The content and presentation keeps getting closer and closer to the desktop app which makes it seamless for me. I love the pace of improvement!
